BISEKA is a proud Sri Lankan brand rooted in the ancient healing wisdom of Ayurveda. Our journey began with a profound vision — to bring safe, effective, and genuinely natural Ayurvedic skin and hair care solutions to every home. With a heritage that dates back to 1973, BISEKA was born out of Ruwan Pharmaceutical Industries, one of the first companies in Sri Lanka to manufacture Ayurvedic medicinal products. This legacy was founded by the late Dr. D.C. Ruwanpathirana, a pioneer in the field and the first Medical Officer of the Nawinna Ayurvedic Research Institute. After retiring as Medical Superintendent, he dedicated his life to creating herbal remedies grounded in the principles of indigenous medicine and inspired by nature.

Following Dr. Ruwanpathirana’s passing, the company’s operations came to a pause — but his vision did not fade. Years later, his son rekindled that legacy by uncovering his father’s original formulas and reviving the brand under a new name: BISEKA. This reimagined identity marked the beginning of a new chapter — one focused on Ayurvedic skincare, haircare, and body care made for the modern world, while staying true to the authenticity of traditional herbal practices.

Every product is handcrafted in small batches using 60–100% herbal extracts — a rare standard in today’s mass-produced beauty industry.
